MEET BRENDA LINE

Picture

Brenda Line, owner,  has been immersed in the court reporting field since 1983, working as a freelance court reporter, court reporting teacher, test writer/recorder, proofreader, and scopist.  Brenda has recorded Lifeline practice and test materials that are used by court reporters at various levels of their careers -- from students at 60 words per minute to National Court Reporters Association skills contest participants and winners at 280 words per minute. Brenda is the female voice for the NCRA skills tests, and she wrote and recorded hundreds of hours of dictation practice and thousands of skills tests for Realtime Coach.
Brenda’s clear diction, relaxed cadence, and soothing tones blend to create the perfect antidote to calm the nerves of anxious skills test-takers.  Lifeline dictation materials are used and endorsed by Douglas J. Zweizig, RDR, CRR, FCRR, CCR, Five-Time National Court Reporters Association Realtime Contest Champion (2006, 2015, 2019, 2021, 2022), 2022 National Court Reporters Association Speed and Realtime Contest Champion, and 2020 Protect Your Record Project Speed Contest Champion.

When she is not engaged in reporting-related activities, Brenda may be found spending time with her family and friends, creating personalized concrete stepping stones, completing DIY construction projects, and using her vocal chords and fingers to make music.
